A voice coach, yoga teacher, digital creator, artist, and founder of ponyponytail. Welcome to my digital home, a place to remember your own divinity by recognizing the sacred, mundane moments that make up our everyday lives.

We do not work ourselves to tears and sinew just to raise the next generation to do the same.
Our pleasure is sacred; our pleasures are mundane. We can find luxury in a tea leaf. We can find God in each breath.
We cannot be bound with taxes and treaties. We need not be qualified by deeds and degrees.
We proclaim our eternal sovereignty with each individual contented sigh. I raise my tea cup to this declaration, pinkie down, middle finger up.

The Sacred Mundane
Acknowledgement of Place & Aloha ‘Āina
We acknowledge that we are settlers – Stephanie a fifth-generation settler and Joel a first-generation settler – to the pae ‘āina o Hawai‘i, the territory recognized by Indigenous Hawaiians as their ancestral grandmother, Papahānaumoku. We recognize that the last reigning monarch Queen Lili‘uokalani yielded the Hawaiian Kingdom under duress to avoid the bloodshed of her people, and we also recognize that Hawai‘i remains an illegally occupied state of America. We further recognize that generations of Indigenous Hawaiians and their knowledge systems shaped Hawai‘i in sustainable ways that allow us to live here today. We stand in solidarity with Hawaiian sovereignty and we support the varied strategies the Indigenous peoples of Hawai‘i are using to protect their land, their language, and their communities.
